Sony Ericsson debuts W715 Walkman phone for Vodafone



 

Today Sony Ericsson debuted its new W715 Walkman cell phone, with a planned initial release on Vodafone's network. This slick slider sports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and dual-band UMTS (900/2100MHz), with HSPA and WiFi for high-speed data connections.

The Sony Ericsson W715 Walkman packs a 3.2 megapixel camera with Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot for expanded storage, and built-in aGPS for geotagging photos with location information. The W715 also includes enhanced music features, including Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support for stereo Bluetooth headphones. The built-in accelerometer supports Sony Ericsson's Shake Control for an innovative way to interact with your music.

The Sony Ericsson W715 Walkman is expected to be available in Q1 2008, though pricing details are not yet available. The phone will be available in your choice of Galactic Black or Luxury Silver color schemes.
